Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian German film and TV actress most well-known for her roles in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Being the sole daughter of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu. Alexandra began her career in showbiz at a young age. She played lead roles in dramas on television as young as the age of 16. Her critically acclaimed performance in the made-for-television film Der Tunnel paved way for more notable roles like Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge from the commercially and critically profitable Oscar nominated historical war drama film Downfall. Other Oscar nominated film starring the famous diva are The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra was involved in many important projects both locally as well as internationally. Some of these include the British biographical documentary Control, Greek drama movie The Dust of Time, as well as the French historical miniseries Napoleon. She was also part of the jury for the Transylvania International Film Festival, and at Cannes Film Festival.
