  Sara Evans is an American country music artist and singer with a net worth of $16 million. Sara Evans signed with RCA Nashville and her debut album "Three Chords and the truth" came out in 1997. Sara Evans released "No Away That Far" in 1998, and was huge success with her title track. The album was given Gold certification. In 2000, her third album "Born to fly" came out. Hot Country Songs chart's #1 single was the album's title track. Birth to Fly received double Platinum certification. The album won the Video of the Year award as well as nominated for other Awards from the Country Music Association in 2001. The album was released "Restless" in 2003 "Real Fine Place" in 2005, "Stronger" in 2011"Stronger" in 2011, and "Slow Me Down" in 2014. The song was a #1 hit with "Suds in the Bucket" and "A Real Fine Place to Start". She was the first country music performer on ABC's Dancing with the Stars in 2006.Evans was born on the 5th of February 1971 , in Boonville, Missouri to parents Pat and Jack Evans. She is one of seven kids. The family lived on a farm of 400 acres, which included livestock and crop farm. The mother of the family was also the school bus driver, and her father worked for The Columbia Daily Tribune newspaper. Evans was 8 years old when she was struck by a car while crossing the road. Evans suffered concussions and a severe injury to her leg.
